Reading, Thinking, Doing

Last night I sat in a velvety, nineteenth-century inspired armchair (which was quite old in its own right) and read from Walden before I went to bed. After watching Fahrenheit 451, I sat in Andrew and Janelle’s guest bedroom. The windows rattled and whistled as a storm began. I can’t weave for you the thoughts I had, but I can list some of the threads.

I love the rain.

I love overcast skies.

I love Portland.

I love genuine experience.

I love simplicity.

I love floors that creak.

I love reading.

I love thinking.

I love doing.

Did you know David loves Walden and has about 10 copies of it and has read it 7 times? It's his favorite book. I love the rain and Portland and reading, too!
